Message	I look at it this way, the recircalated air goes back in to the intake and out the filter if there is not enough space OR it will create turbulance with the air entering into the turbos through the filter. Ofcourse the throttle is closed when this all happens so there is no difference between BOV and Recirc regarding your two questions.
